NMDC, a state-run entity, aims to boost its iron ore production by 22% to 55 million tonnes in FY26, progressing towards its ambitious 100 million tonnes target by 2030. The company reported a significant 45% surge in iron ore output during April-May FY26.

NMDC reported a 17.37% rise in FY25 net profit to ₹6,538.82 crore, with income rising to ₹25,498.84 crore. The company paid ₹2,901 crore in dividends and targets 100 MTPA output in five years despite a slight drop in current iron ore production.
